I started experiencing vertigo and went seen ENT, neurologist, and spine doctor, had multiple images done, doctors had no idea of what was causing my vertigo. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Granger Brown at Neck Wise, he took the time to listen and performed examination then he explained what could be causing the vertigo then established a plan, after a few visits the vertigo subsided and is continually getting better. Thank you Dr. Brown

I was in a car accident 4 1/2 years ago. I’ve had to do speech therapy, vision therapy, balance, multiple riziotomy treatments. I even went and spent a week at cognitive Fx for some treatment. All have been helpful, but I wonder how many of them could have been avoided had I come to Neckwise first. Dr. Granger Brown is so dedicated to his patients! I’ve been extremely grateful to be in his care and for the progress I’ve seen in my own healing journey. Thank you!

Understanding Starts with Answers

What is upper cervical chiropractic care?

Upper cervical chiropractic focuses on the top two bones of the spine—the atlas and axis—which protect the brainstem and influence the entire nervous system. By gently correcting misalignments in this area, we help restore balance, improve function, and support the body’s natural healing process.

How is NeckWise different from traditional chiropractic?

At NeckWise, we don’t use forceful twisting or cracking. Our doctors use state-of-the-art imaging and precise, customized techniques to deliver gentle, targeted corrections that get to the root of your symptoms—without guesswork or general adjustments.

Is the adjustment painful?

Not at all. NeckWise uses light, controlled adjustments that are gentle and highly specific. Many patients are surprised at how subtle the adjustment feels and how powerful the results are.

How long will it take to feel better?

Healing is different for everyone. Some patients feel immediate improvement, while others notice gradual changes over time. Our goal is not just short-term relief, but long-term results—guided by regular assessments and a care plan designed just for you.

Do you adjust the whole spine or just the neck?

Our focus is on the upper cervical spine because of its critical role in overall alignment and neurological function. By correcting this key area, the rest of the spine and body often realigns naturally—without the need for multiple full-spine adjustments.

Is this safe for children, seniors, or people with chronic health conditions?

Yes. Upper cervical care is extremely gentle and safe for patients of all ages, including infants, seniors, and those with complex health concerns. Each adjustment is carefully tailored to the individual, with your safety and comfort as top priorities.
